A day sketching on St. Michael's Mount
I had the privilege to spend a beautiful sunny September day sketching in the gardens on St. Michael's Mount gathering ideas and inspiration for a new project.
The gardens are now closed for the season as they recover from their busy summer so I felt extremely lucky to be allowed in and have them to myself for a few hours - they are truly stunning and quite overwhelming to sketch!
I look forward to sharing more with you as the project develops. I will be practising drawing and then sewing the spiral aloes (no mean feat!) and developing my sketches into product designs.
