Reflections from Paris: Coffee, Cemeteries & Catacombs
My visit to Paris was the first of the many celebrations planned for turning 50 this year.

I met up with two very dear friends, also lucky enough to be reaching 50 and we walked the streets, drank coffee in the spring sunshine, talked about the next chapter.

We browsed the Brocante in Belleville, went underground to the sombre catacombs, danced the night away in the Bataclan and spent long than expected searching out dead famous people in the Montparnasse cemetery.

Above all it was very special to completely relax with special friends, to escape the studio, spend time sketching and return to my desk refreshed and inspired.
