There is something almost tropical about these tiny birds and Poppy's stitched version uses blocks of colour to create a vibrant embroidery.

This piece is stitched by Poppy on her vintage Singer sewing machine. The slightly unpredictable nature of drawing in stitch means that the lines have a naive quality to them.
