Coffee anyone? This embroidery was originally made some years ago for a card design. It's stitched on a gorgeous Toile De Jouy fabric with a saucer made from a Japanese spotty fabric which Poppy bought in California.
This piece is stitched by Poppy on her vintage Singer sewing machine. The slightly unpredictable nature of drawing in stitch means that the lines have a naive quality to them.
This piece is a one-off original.
