Here at Poppy Treffry Ltd we are committed to keeping the trust and confidence of our customers and other visitors to our website and our shops.
We will not sell, rent or trade our email lists with anyone else for marketing purposes.
A cookie is a small file, which asks permission to be placed on your computer's hard drive. Once you agree, the file is added and the cookie helps analyse web traffic or lets you know when you visit a particular site. Cookies allow web applications to respond to you as an individual. The web application can tailor its operations to your needs, likes and dislikes by gathering and remembering information about your preferences.
We use traffic log cookies to identify which pages are being used. This helps us analyse data about webpage traffic and improve our website in order to tailor it to customer needs. We only use this information for statistical analysis purposes and then the data is removed from the system.
Overall, cookies help us provide you with a better website by enabling us to monitor which pages you find useful and which you do not. A cookie in no way gives us access to your computer or any information about you, other than the data you choose to share with us.
You can choose to accept or decline cookies. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer. This may prevent you from taking full advantage of our website
When someone visits www.poppytreffry.co.uk we use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way that does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.
As part of the registration process for our e-newsletters, we collect personal information. We use that information for a couple of reasons: to tell you about new products, discounts and competitions; to contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information; to check our records are right and to check every now and then that you’re happy and satisfied. We don't rent, sell or trade email lists with other organisations or businesses.
We use a third-party provider called MailChimp, to deliver our newsletter. We gather statistics around email openings and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter. For more information, please see MailChimp’s privacy notice. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails or by emailing us at email@example.com
When you purchase a product or book a course through the Poppy Treffry on-line store your name, address, email, contact number and which products you purchased will be stored in our ecommerce system called Magento and on our retail software, Brightpearl. We will not use your data to send you any promotional information unless you have opted in to do so. You may, of course, purchase a product in person without supplying the aforementioned personal data in either of our two bricks and mortar shops. Please be assured that we do not share your personal details with any other company or business without your consent.
We do not and never will sell, trade or rent your personal information to anyone else. We will occasionally run a collaborative competition with a similar small business that we know and trust – in this case, we may share your personal information with the other business if you enter said competition but only if you give us permission to do so.
