These little bees were created as the starting point for Poppy's Bees fabric. Once scanned and put into repeat this original stitched piece became one of our most enduring fabric designs.
Poppy's pieces evolve as she stitches, using her vintage Singer sewing machine to bring a sketch to life. The slightly unpredictable nature of drawing in stitch means that the lines have a naive quality to them.
This piece is a one-off original.
