This original embroidery is a completely free-flowing original embroidery created by Poppy, inspired by the sparkling chaos of the Bonfire Night sky. Stitched with vintage threads on deep blue linen, this piece bursts with colour, movement, and joyful spontaneity - just like the fireworks that inspired it.
This piece is stitched by Poppy on her vintage Singer sewing machine. The slightly unpredictable nature of drawing in stitch means that the lines have a naive quality to them.
