The 10 Best Picnic Spots in Cornwall
With this week being picnic week and with the hopes of a heatwave approaching, what better way to celebrate by showing off Cornwall's best picnic locations- in no particular order!

10) Porthminster Beach, St Ives
This spot is great, not only does it feels as if you are in the Carribean, but you have the choice of the white sandy beach, picnic benches and a lovely grass patch to lay your mini dry mats on!
9) Zennor
This is the perfect picnic pit stop location if you're a fan of coastal walks, it can be a tad windy but the view is definitely worth it!
8) Land's End
Now we know this is quite a touristy area, but with a panoramic view of the coast (and sometimes you can see the Scillies!) and plenty of benches to purch on this is a great lunchtime spot. We recommend parking at Gwynver and walking across Sennen and to Land's End for a glorious and scenic pilgrimage for lunch!
7) Porthcurno
A very popular beach for a very good reason. Porthcurno is a breath-taking beach with a view of Logan's rock, easy to access via a big car-park this beach is great for a family day and if you're feeling cultural why not pop over to the Minack Theatre for the evening.
6) Mousehole
It is as cute and beautiful as the name itself, Mousehole (pronounced Mow-zel) is a quaint and idyllic harbour- perfect for a picnic pit stop and for a lovely dip!
5) Prussia Cove
Prussia Cove is a lovely stretch of coast just past Perranuthnoe, there is an easy to access car park and with just a short walk down to the cove, it is a lovely sarnie eating spot. You may recognise the cove from the film Ladies in Lavender!
4) Porthleven
Now, if you are looking for a place for a bit more of a fancy picnic then the lovely town of Porthleven is a must-see! Either bring your own, or buy from the many lovely cafés, sit and admire the beautiful working harbour. Just be sure to not feed the seagulls!
3) Gwithian Towans Beach
This long stretch of white sandy beach is a great place for muching on your lunch. Easy to access with a big car-park it's a more quiet beach (mainly as it's so huge!) so it's perfect to immerse yourself into the Cornish life without lots of tourists around.
2) Kynance Cove
Kynance is a must-see if you're on holiday. Be warned it can get very busy- so be prepared with your lunch in tow and sit back and admire the view.
1) Cot Valley, St Just
Now this little spot is a hit with the local's- a great chance to see the glory of the North Coast, especially if you're walking along the coast path. Be warned- there isn't much around in regard to shops so pack sensibly and stylishly with our picnic range!
