What to buy for the lovely teachers...
As the end of the summer school term draws closer all parents can be found either breathing a sigh of relief as the school runs finish for a few weeks or wondering how they are going to keep their little darlings entertained for over a month…
Either way, many want to thank/compensate their child’s teacher for teaching them, mopping up tears and applying plasters with a small gift.

Lydia and Tamsin are bloomin’ fantastic cooks and the lucky teachers of their children have enjoyed various homemade treats over the years. Tamsin is also a big fan of adding one of our badges to the package.

Nastassia’s son said his teacher doesn’t think she can keep plants alive so he’ll be taking in a cactus (fingers crossed it at least lasts the summer). And wouldn’t that be just perfect in one of our fabric storage pots?
Lucy (who also actually works in a school alongside stitching) says ‘the best (and I mean it) is a handmade thank you and miss you card!! Love them and really means a lot when I have cuddled their precious little darling while they cry, cleaned up their sick, poo & blood, sorted out their many friendship issues and sat with them for hours on end to help them write a sentence!!’
Although she is also a sucker for a plant or flowers!
And although a couple of the team haven’t taken part in this tradition regularly it turns out that when your baby leaves primary school even the reluctant gift giver succumbs to the emotions and wraps up a lovely mug and some fancy tea…
