Squashbox Theatre at the Minack
This one man, many character company has a number of shows marketed for kids – but us adults have never been along and not cried with laughter, sung along and learnt a fact or two. The back drop of the stunning bay and the seats carved into the cliffside by an incredible Cornish woman add to the magic and make seeing these shows a truly unforgettable experience.
As an exciting pop-up venue Kneehigh’s Asylum means that the shows and venues always work so well together with no compromise. And this year they have popped up on the beach! Partnering up with local food folk they offer the whole afternoon/evening out and describe themselves as: ‘ a pop-up palace for fun, hope and escape. It is a sanctuary where we can come together to tell stories, to dance, to eat, to drink and celebrate.’
